Life Lately

It's really not like me to take this many pictures of myself that much but i must of been in a very photogenic mood that week, anyways....this is what i have been up to lately!

one: I bought these cute pj's from asos a few weeks ago as they were in the sale and i am like the sale queen! I'm normally a size 14/16 but i buy all my pj's and t-shirts at size 20 or 22 because i absolutely hate tight t-shirts. Bigger the better i say.

two; there's nothing really to say for this picture, i got paid so on my way to get the food shopping i thought i would pop into Matalan and buy some MORE comfy clothes, which were also in the sale.

three; this is just one of those photo's you take waiting to go to work as you got ready way too early. I don't actually mind my works uniform but i do love it when i get home i can just take it off and get back into my comfy clothes.

four; for a little treat to myself i thought i would get my nails done at the hairdressers i go to and i absolutely loved them for about a day then they chipped!! It was that gel nail polish and that's meant to last up to 2 weeks and i didn't at all! I had to go back a few days later to get them re-done because they have chipped so much but oh well, i know not to get it done again, and to just do it myself. But on the bright side they did look pretty for a few days.

five; i also got my hair cut whilst i was there as well and i always used to say to myself i would never again cut my hair short or as a bob again but i went back on my word and got it cut short. I don't actually mind it, it's so much easier to look after and wash. But i'm trying to get as much as the bleach out as possible so then i can just leave it and let it grow really long for my sister's wedding next year. Only a few more inches left and it should be all out.

six; As it's christmas in a few weeks, we were allowed to wear christmas jumpers to work for the month of December and i have never owned a christmas jumper in my life and i wasn't actually going to get one but it was a great opportunity to wear a nice big baggy jumper to work than uniform so i thought why not and just got a cheap ish one from Matalan. I don't think i will ever wear again for christmas but it just means i have even more baggy jumpers now.

Doggie Smiles

Firstly i would like to make a massive apology about not posting anything since September D: i have been extremely busy with work as its been the Christmas rush but i shall definately make sure on my days off i will do a blog post.
As some of you may or not know but i am a huge animal lover and these two special doggies are Stanley (top) and Charlie (bottom). Their both ickle Jack Russells and their both around 11 years old. I wouldn't say they're my doggies but Stanley is definately but ickle puppy. Unfortunately we didn't have charlie when he was a puppy as he's kind of a rescue dog but to us he's always been our ickle baby puppy. Along side these doggies you may know we have 3 ickle baby hamsters. Dexter (who is my baby) Daisy & Ginger George.
Because i love animals sooooo much i have decided to volunteer at the RSPCA next year when i turn 18 and i honestly can't wait! I just love animals soooo much just want to squish them and cuddle them all day every day!!!!
Anyway's enough of the animal talk, hope you all have a good day :)

Dismaland Part Two

It's a shame that Dismaland only lasted a month or so. I would of loved to go back again but im so glad i was actually able to go and get photos to remind me of how amazing it was. I also feel very lucky that it was in my home town and it put us on the map. People from all over the world came to see this amazing exhibition so i feel very lucky that it was just down the road.
I really hope something like that will happen again in the future because i will definitely be going!

Dismaland Part One

If you didn't know already, i live in a small ish town in North Somerset and a month or so ago Banksy and a few other artists turned the old tropicana on the sea front into an exhibition of art they have made. I have always been a massive fan of Banksy's art work and it was only down the road so it would of been silly if i didn't go.

This is my favourite piece out of all the art there. Mainly because it is obviously Banksy. Yeah you could say it's a bit rude and maybe controversial but all in all if you like Banksy as much as you, you can see past that.

Beach Day!

One of the things i love to do the most recently when its good weather is either go for a bike ride down the country lanes and go see all the farm animals or go to the beach and walk the doggies to get my steps in. Well i say walking the doggies, it's mainly me and my parents walking whilst the dogs are rolling around in the sand and exploring. Unless charlie is in a playful mood he just digs and digs.
My sister gave me and mum lots of her old clothes this other week and this dress has to be one of them. It's a bright pink skater dress with blue roses on it. It's so comfy and something which i can just throw on if i'm going out and don't have to be all dressed up for. I've recently also been using the Fitbit flex to track my steps and my exercise during the day as i've been trying to lose weight again. It's pretty good i would say, i've only been using it for a week or so but it's been good so far. If you're trying to lose weight and want to keep track of how much exercise you have done, i would highly recommend this.

Hamster snuggles

Aw just look how cute they are! These are just two of the hamster babies in our household. The top photo is Dexter and dexter is my little baby. Dan got him as a Valentines present for me February just gone so hes near enough fully grown now. But he's still my little baby.

This is Daisy. She used to be my sister ickle hamster but we sort of adopted her. She never used to be tame but now she is one of the snuggleist, smooshy hamsters ever. They are both syrian hamsters so they don't live together as they will most likely kill each other...but they secretly love each other as at the end of the day, they are family. We also have another hamster, George who is my mums hamster but he was being sleepy and moody so didn't want his photo taken. But just urrrgggg they are so cute i could just squish their ickle tiny faces!!

Instagram Life #3

Photo One: Well what can i say? I was bored so i straightened my hair which i haven't done in years and thought i had to document it on instagram. I not long ago got my hair layered and cut a bit shorter than usual so it would be more easy to take care of, but now i'm starting to miss my long hair and being able to do pretty things with it :(. Don't worry, i'm growing it out again.

Photo Two: My mum used to be a big lover of incense when i was growing up and i will forever have the memory of the smell of incense when i was growing up. I used to hate them but now i've kind of grown to like them. That is what the smoke looked like in the sun and i thought it looked pretty magical.

Photo Three: On the weekend, me and dan went to bristol for a couple of hours because...well i'm not gonna lie, Dan got paid and wanted to get things. I wouldn't say it was a successful trip as we were both stressed out as there was a lot of people, it was very VERY hot and Dan left his phone in the car. But on the way home we were behind one of my favourite cars EVER! So that cheered me up.

Photo Four: A couple weeks ago, Me and Dan went to primark just to have a look round at the new summer range which was out and when we was looking around the homeware section, i came across this gorgeous fox throw and oh my goodness it is the softest thing i think i have ever owned! And it was only £5 which is amazing. If you are near a primark one day, i would highly recommend you go and get this, it will change your life!

Photo Five: Dan the cutie he is took me out for a meal the other night and in the nearly 5 years of knowing him, i don't think we had ever been out for a meal on our own before and it was so lovely ^-^.

Photo Six: For the people who don't know, in my house we have 3 cute ickle syrian hamsters. Dexter who is my hamster which can got me for valentines day just gone. George who is my mums hamster and Daisy who was my sister's hamster but we sort of adopted her. She never used to like being cuddled or being picked up but I like to think we have tamed her now and she is such a little character.

Sunday Snooze Day

For me Sundays are snooze days where i just rest and not do much all day. To me, these are the best of days. Sometimes i like to go out on adventures and find new places but recently my illnesses (CFS&HSP) are playing up quite bad so i've needed to rest more than usual. But that doesn't stop me from blogging and keeping up with posting on my social media. Snooze days is also an excuse to just lounge around all day in my PJ's. Since February i have basically been living in PJ's every day so i've kinda got used to just lounging around in them all day and yes PJ's are by far my favourite types of clothes to wear more than anything else.

Friday Favourite #1

Sometimes i think it's a shame i live in the UK and not America as they have such gorgeous shops there. For example, Modcloth. For people who love pretty dresses and shoes and just everything pretty, you will absolutely love this shop! I would love to buy so many things from there but it would cost so much money to buy it then get it all the way here but i'm sure if i have more money or if i go to America one day i will definitely purchase some things from there. Here are just a few things i've had my eye on from Modcloth.

Big news!

Don't worry it's not for my wedding, well not just yet but it's for my sister's wedding! Yep my big sister got engaged a few weeks ago and i am so happy and a little bit over excited for her and for the day. Of course i am a bridesmaid. I already have a very gorgeous dress with gorgeous shoes and cute accessories. When it comes to events i'm not really great with being in crowds and around people i've never met before but how she has organised it is amazing. Just small, simple and quiet. To me this is perfect and sort of like the same sort of wedding i would want in the future. It's a while away yet but i'm still excited!

Instagram Life #2

Photo one; A couple weeks ago, me and my mum took the doggies out for a walk in the woods and it was such a gorgeous day. Am i the only one who likes to just stand and look up at the sky and see the tops of the tree's? It might just be me being weird but if you go to a forest or a woods near you, just sit down or stand there for a minute and just look up at the sky, you wont regret it.

Photo two: This picture is actually from last year when me, Dan and my parents went to westonbirt arboretum for a day out and it has to be by far my favourite photo i was ever taken. Just how it's focused on the flowers and how bright and bold the colours are.

Photo three: A couple weeks ago, Dan passed his driving test (yay) and that meant finally being able to have his car on the road and that meant evening drives and days out. Last weekend we went for a nice evening drive to the local beach. We have always said since we met nearly 5 years ago now that we will go on roadtrips and just go on random drives and that finally happened! It's so nice to just be able to just drive and find new places to go.

Photo four: This is what happens when i get bored. Take the most random selfies and hope for the best they look ok. Plus (and i don't mean to sound vain) i really liked my eyes.

Photo five: Here in the UK it was father's day and my family isn't one to take many photos with each other, i would say its very rare to get a photo of all of us together but this photo of me and my dad is 2 or 3 years old but it's still one of my favourite. Just sums up how much of a fun relationship i have with him.

Photo six: Look how cute!!!! ^-^ Stanley has been quite soppy and attached to me lately and i don't know why. I stayed in to wait for the asos man and all he did was just sleep next to me or on me and give me cuddles. He can be annoying and a bit of a rat bag but he's still my little floofy puppy.

May Favourites

These moisturisers have saved my life recently. Since its been so hot here recently my skin has been dreadful! It's been so dry and itchy and these have changed that a lot. I try to moisturise at least twice a day after i have had a shower. If you have sensitive skins on your face like me, the morrisons own one is great for mine and it lasts all day and doesn't feel greasy or sticky at all like most moisturisers do.

I bought this little album for my instax mini photos a while ago and it's only just come but it was worth the wait. It's so tiny!! Which i find very cute and also very handy for putting in your bag and add more photos when you're out and about. It holds around 60 photos which is perfect for if you're like me and you are just non stop taking photos of whatever you see. It was just a little over £2 off Ebay which for how good the quality is, it's amazing.
My little yellow instax mini 8 camera is like my little companion recently, it comes with me wherever and whenever i go out. I've mentioned this before in a recent blogpost but it's just so good and i love it so much! It is a bit on the pricey side but trust me, it is so worth it if you have the money to spare.
I have been literally hooked on this TV show! I've seen a lot of people talking about it throughout the years but i didn't believe them when they said how good it was and OH MY GOODNESS it's amazing! I'm only on series two so i've still got a lot of catching up to do but if you haven't watched it and if you have heard people saying how good it is and don't believe  them then go on Netflix, put it on and you will believe them!

Time To Shine

Last summer me and my parents made the little front garden outside our house my own little personal garden (which my mum has slowly taken over).  But as you may or may not know roses are my favourite flower! I mainly like yellow ones but we couldn't find a yellow rose bush last summer so we bought this gorgeous light pink one instead. They only come out once a year for the summer but when they do, they are absolutely gorgeous! I dare to pick them and put them in the house. We found a yellow rose bush a while ago and planted it but unfortunately as it's still only a baby plant it hasn't bloomed yet but i can't wait to see how that one turns out soon. If you're a bit of a garden fanatic and live keeping busy during the summer, i would highly recommend making your own little garden and getting rose bushes! They're not hard to look after, just need a lot of water and love.

Things I've been loving recently

For my birthday a week ago, my parents got me this gorgeous yellow Instaxmini 8. I couldn't believe my eyes when i opened the box and saw this! i was sooo happy! I have been wanting one of these camera's for months now and now i finally have one. I love how it takes photos what sort of look 70's which my mum loves.
Yellow roses are my favourite flower by far. In the front garden of my house i have a massive pink rose bush and a yellow one but i love them that much that wasnt enough. My mum bought me this lovely little home rose bush for my bedroom. It's so gorgeous it makes my room just light up!

Tsum Tsums! These are by far my favourite things right now. They only recently came to English disney stores a few months ago i think and to be honest i am more shocked about the price of them. The mini ones are only £3! Which i think is pretty good for Disney store as most plushes are quite expensive. My boyfriend bought me a big box of them for my birthday. Including my big stitch, bambi, olaf, fairy god mother, lotso, three pee's in a pod and sven. As you can see, i'm a bit Disney obsessed!

Summer Wish list

First of all i would like to say sorry for the minimum photo/photography posts. The camera i use Isn't working great at the moment. Plus i haven't had the energy or motivation to get up and take photos recently as i'm still pretty ill, so to make up for that, i thought i would do a summer wishlist!
I know this isn't exactly summery but i have been looking for months for a disney sweatshirt like this! And now i have FINALLY found one! Happy happy happy :) Thanks asos!
I actually bought this top a couple weeks ago and i wore it on my birthday with some jeans and my new pink palladiums my sister got me for my birthday. It's not a top i thought would be comfy and fit nice but it actually does. I got it in a size 16 because i knew topshop sizes can be small but it's actually baggy which is a bonus.
I know i would never wear these shoes but i just think they're just so gorgeous! You know when you see something so nice which you don't need and know you won't wear it but you just need it because it's so pretty? yeah thats what im like with these shoes. These are also from topshop.
When it's summer, one thing i hate the most is staying indoors watching bad day time tv and doing nothing. I like to be out and about doing things in the sun. I can't really do much this summer because of my health but it's still nice to go out for an hour or so and just give down in the sun with a picnic maybe. I saw this bag on asos and thought it would be perfect for days out to put my instax mini 8 camera in and film, maybe some food and drink. It's a bit on the pricey side but who doesn't like to treat themselves once in a while?
I'm a sucker when it comes to big chunky round sunglasses. I think they are a must have for summer. Especially if you are going on holiday. I have some gorgeous sunglasses but unfortunately they broke a while back and they're getting a bit worn down but i still love them. Topshop have been doing well with their summer range this year. I don't usually like it but they have done good this year!
These are very summery either but i am so excited for Vans new disney range this year. If you know me you know i love everything and i mean EVERYTHING disney and i really can not wait for this!!! Van's are my favourite shoe brand as well so it makes it even more perfect!

Getting back on track

Since the beginning of February i haven't been very well. It all started off with a small rash on my leg and within a week is had spread and covered both my legs, my hips and the bottom of my back. The rash always made my joints (ankles and knees) swell to the point i couldn't walk. In the end i had to go to A&E to see what they thought it could be. They first thought it was a bacterial infection and sent me home with antibiotics. But it still hadn't gone and by this point it spread to my arms. I got referred to see a dermatologist and he diagnosed me with henoch-schonlein purpura (or hsp for short). He said it would clear up within a week and that it was on its way out of my system, just had to keep an eye on my kidneys every couple months or so because one of the main complications with hsp is kidney problems. Anyway, a week past and i was getting worse. I woke up one morning with extreme abdominal pain and nothing was taking the pain away and the rash just got worse as well. I soon went to the doctors at the start of the week and he thought it was cramps so he gave me something to take and said it will go within a few days when taking these tablets, but it didn't. On that weekend we had to call for an ambulance because the pain was so extreme i wasn't eat and i couldn't take any medication or pain killers because i couldn't hold anything down, i was just sicking them back up. So the ambulance took me to hospital on an iv drip of morphine to take the pain off on the way there. When we got to hospital, they gave me a bit more morphine and then a drip of paracetamol and anti sickness. I was there for at least 5 hours before they sent me home with anti sickness tablets and co-codamol. I had my fingers crossed that the pain would go or at least die down within that week because the Thursday (19th of March) i was getting my tonsils taken out. The operation went very well and the abdominal pain thankfully died down whilst i got my tonsils out. The day i got discharged from taking my tonsils out, it all started again. I couldn't hold any of my medication down, any pain killers for my tummy or throat, any food or water. So we had no choice but to ring the ambulance again. They came and same as last time, gave me morphine through a drip on the way there and when i arrived at the hospital, they put me on a drip of fluids because of how much i was sick it made me very dehydrated. The doctor decided to admit me to hospital to keep an eye on me and make sure i had lots of iv fluids as i wasn't eating or drinking anything. I was in hospital for a week and 3 days. Having scans and blood tests and after all that time, they finally found the reason why i'm always in so much pain. They found out that the rash on my skin is also in my intestines which makes them swell and where the blood vessels burst they bleed. They sent me home with very strong painkillers and anti sickness tablets. I know i'm always going to have this but it comes in waves, sometimes it can go for a while but then come back and thats something i'm going to have to live with but if i look after myself and eat properly it shouldn't be so bad. Since being ill i have lost a stone and a half in weight, not the best way to lose weight but from now on, i'm fit and healthy. Even if your not ill you should always look after yourself to make sure you don't get ill. Being in hospital for that long was so draining and horrible and i hope i never have to stay there again.

Room Tour

i have only just noticed that you guys haven't seen where i spent most of my time and where i do my blog posts, i am very sorry. You can find me in my room 80% of the time. I'm not the sort of teenager who spends most of my time in my room with the door shut doing "teenager things". But i will admit, i do spend majority of the time in my room when my boyfriend is over.
Well this is my random bits and bobs everywhere room. Everyone is saying i am slowly turning into my mum  with bits and bobs and dangly things everywhere and i say i'm not but i can see where they're coming from now.....
I wouldn't really say i'm a messy person, i like things to be neat and tidy and know where everything is. It may not exactly look like it but i promise you i know where everything is in my room!! Well 98% of the time i do.

This where dexter (my hamster) stays. He is one messy hamster though, we only cleaned him out yesterday and he's already made a mess in his cage. I still love him though :)

Best for last, this is my picture wall of me and Dan. There isn't much because i haven't had chance to print all the photos out we have together but these are my favourites ^-^
